Elizabeth Van Horne Clarkson

American folk artist Elizabeth Van Horne Clarkson was an early nineteenth-century American textile artisan from New York. Working within the American folk art tradition, she is celebrated for her highly detailed and technically masterful pieced patchwork quilts.
