Florent Bodart strips architecture and landscapes back to their essential forms, transforming familiar buildings and places into bold shapes, grids and carefully balanced colour. Created from his studio in the South of France, his work is largely digital, shaped by an enduring interest in Bauhaus poster design and the electronic and ambient music that accompanies his process. The result feels both distinctly modern and quietly nostalgic.
“These artworks represent the minimal phase of my career, focusing on simplified architecture facades with solid shapes, and the maps are also very minimal, with grey tones and Helvetica fonts.”
