Laura Pritchett paints figures and landscapes charged with wind and motion, an instinct traced back to childhood memories of hanging laundry on the line and watching fabric come alive in the air.

Working in oil and acrylic on cradled wood panels, her work has moved with her through a full-time journey across the American West in an Airstream, capturing places less as exact depictions than as impressions filtered through memory.
