This piece borrows the palette from another art-historical piece I made after Jan van Eyck (of Jan de Leeuw from 1436) and transforms it into a geometric abstraction that redirects the drips. I divided the canvas into four pyramidal sections, rotating the canvas 90° between each. Each triangle uses a distinct set of 15 colors, arranged from light to dark—60 colors total—creating a radiating abstraction.
